About the Pittsburgh Steelers
The Pittsburgh Steelers joined the NFL in 1933 and play home games at Acrisure Stadium along the Allegheny and Monongahela rivers in downtown Pittsburgh. The Steelers have won six Super Bowl titles, tied for the most in NFL history, with the "Steel Curtain" defense of the 1970s anchoring four championships in a six-year span under coach Chuck Noll.
